Data Science, Machine Learning, Data & Software Engineering, and Climate Risk

Hello, I’m Stefan, an experienced Data Scientist, Data Engineer, and Climate Risk Modeler. I specialize in creating cutting-edge cloud-based solutions to orchestrate and extract valuable insights from all kinds of data.

My mission is to empower informed decision-making through data. Currently, I am dedicated to quantifying the risks associated with physical hazards and extreme weather events such as wildfires, heatwaves, droughts, cyclones, and more, all exacerbated by the pressing issue of climate change. My aim is to provide actionable insights that enable proactive measures to mitigate these risks and safeguard communities, assets, and the environment.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to engage in a range of thrilling data projects spanning diverse industries, including Reinsurance, Ad-Tech, and Climate Risk.

Whether I’m building predictive models, setting up the cloud infrastructure and platform, designing scalable data pipelines, process billions of climate data in the cloud, or performing exploratory data analysis and build some visually appealing, & interactive dashboards, I always bring my best to the table and strive to deliver exceptional results.

Providing practical & business relevant solutions by means of Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistical Modeling, Analytics, Data-, and Software Engineering, mixed with creativity and curiousity I find even more exciting.
